Now that I have my 350D outfitted with the essentials (cable release, great tripod, telephoto lens, etc.), I had to try photographing the 4th of July fireworks display here in Knoxville, TN.  Overall, things turns out quite well.  I wish I had an L-series lens for this with an extender to get a little more clarity and a little more zoom range and it would have been great if the Hilton wasn’t in some of the shots, but I didn’t have a way around it.  I could edit the Hilton logo out via Photoshop, but I just don’t like altering my photos like that.  Anyway, here are a couple of sample shots and a link to the full album:
